John Claybourn Williams

Commander R.N.R. (retired) John Claybourn Williams, R.D., R.N.R. (10 June, 1869 – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.

Life & Career

Williams was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 16 January, 1906.[1]

Williams was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 16 January, 1914. He retireed on 10 June, 1914.[2]

He was promoted to the rank of Acting Commander on 30 June, 1916.[3]

Williams was promoted to the rank of Commander R.N.R. in recognition of his wartime service dated 11 November, 1918.[4]

He reverted to the Retired List on 24 June, 1919.
