Lieutenant-Commander (retired) Herbert John Rose, M.B.E., R.N. (12 January, 1870 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Rose was promoted to the rank of Gunner on 1 November, 1898.
Rose was promoted to the rank of Chief Gunner on 1 November, 1913.
Rose was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 25 September, 1921.
Retired due to age on 12 August, 1922, Rose was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander (retired) on 25 September, 1929.
