Harry Lucius Fanshawe Royle

Rear-Admiral (retired) Harry Lucius Fanshawe Royle, D.S.O., R.N. (26 March, 1849 – 13 June, 1906) served in the Royal Navy.
It appears that he may also have been named Henry. Both names are used in Service Records, with the same birthdate.
Life & Career
Royle was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 December, 1872.
Royle was promoted to the rank of Commander on 21 June, 1887.[1]
Royle was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1892.
Royle was placed on the Retired List according to the provisions of Order in Council of 22 February, 1870 on 18 February, 1904 and was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral (retired) on 16 February, 1905.
