H.M.S. Valhalla was one of five "V" class flotilla leaders.
Service
Recommissioned at Devonport on 5 January, 1920.[5]
Re-commissioned at Port Edgar on 27 September, 1923.[6]
In early 1925, she was operating with the Sixth Destroyer Flotilla under the command of Lionel George Dawson.[7]
Re-commissioned at Devonport on 2 May, 1926 for service with the Sixth Destroyer Flotilla in the Atlantic Fleet.[8]
Valhalla arrived at Sheerness on 20 January[9] and was reduced to Reserve at Chatham on 27 January, 1931.[10] On 25 May, it was reported that she was to be one of ten destroyers from various reserves to be scrapped in the present year.[11]
By 9 February 1932, her remains had been towed from Sheerness to be broken up.[12]
