H.M.S. Saracen was one of twelve destroyers of the "Tribal" class.
Service
In 1909, she became one of forty-three destroyers so far fitted with Destroyer Radio Sets.[7]
In mid-1913, Saracen was with Fourth Destroyer Flotilla.[8]
War having broken out, in 1914, H.M.S. Tartar collided with Saracen while crossing her known line of patrol. Tartar's Lieutenant-Commander Edwards was faulted in the event.[9]
By May 1919, Saracen was among 33 obsolete ships awaiting sale.[10]
