H.M.S. Celandine was one of thirty-six Arabis Class sweeping sloops completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
Celandine was sent to Gibraltar upon her commissioning where she was one of the sweeping sloops directly attached the station until June 1918 when it became part of the Eleventh Sloop Flotilla based there.
Paid off at Devonport on 11 April, 1919.[6]
