H.M.S. Britannia

Six ships of the Royal Navy have been named H.M.S. Britannia.

• The First Britannia (100 guns) - Launched at Chatham Dockyard in 1682.

• The Second Britannia (100 guns) - Launched at Woolwich Dockyard in 1719.

• The Third Britannia (100 guns) - Launched at Portsmouth Royal Dockyard in 1762.

• The Fourth Britannia (120 guns) - Launched at Devonport Dockyard in 1820.

• The Fifth Britannia (131 guns) - Launched at Portsmouth Dockyard in 1860.

• The Sixth Britannia, pre-dreadnought - Launched at Portsmouth Dockyard in 1904.
