H.M.A.S. Perth was one of three Perth Class light cruisers, and one of two completed for the Royal Navy. She began service in the Royal Navy as H.M.S. Amphion, but transferred to the Royal Australian Navy in 1939 and took on her Australian designation.

Service

Re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 15 June, 1936.[5]
