Captain Frederic Walter Bennett (26 April, 1887 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Bennett was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant with seniority of 30 October, 1907.
Bennett was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander with seniority of 30 October, 1915.
Bennett served as Shannon's gunnery officer at the Battle of Jutland, and was recommended for having withheld his fire, as he could see very little to shoot at.
He would later serve as gunnery officer in H.M.S. Renown.
Bennett was promoted to the rank of Commander with seniority of 31 December, 1918.
