Edward Albert Ashworth Crowley

Commander R.N.R. (retired) Edward Albert Ashworth Crowley, R.D. (18 March, 1887 – ) was an officer in the Royal Naval Reserve.

Life & Career

Crowley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 1 August, 1916.[1]

Crowley was appointed in command of the patrol boat PC 44 on 25 March, 1918.[2] He was demobilised on 19 February, 1919.[3]

Crowley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 1 August, 1924.[4]

Crowley was placed on the Retired List on account of age at the rank of Commander R.N.R. on 18 March, 1932.[5]

World War II

N.C.S. duties at Hull and out of H.M.S. Eaglet.[6]
