Commander Edmund Valentine Jeffreys, (19 January, 1893 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of John Jeffreys, Esq., J.P., of Hants.[1]
Jeffreys served in the destroyer Arun before being promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and was appointed to the pre-dreadnought Lord Nelson on 15 February, 1915.[2]
Jeffreys was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 February, 1923.[3]
Jeffreys was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1928.[4]
He was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 19 January, 1939.[5]
