Admiral SIR Desmond Parry Dreyer, G.C.B., C.B.E., D.S.C., D.L. (6 April, 1910 – 15 May, 2003) served in the Royal Navy. He was the second son of Jellicoe's flag captain, Frederic Charles Dreyer.
Life & Career
His first ships were Revenge (four months) and Nelson (two years). In 1931, he was hospitalised for jaundice.
At the Battle of the River Plate in December 1939, Dreyer was Gunnery Officer in the light cruiser Ajax.
