Rear-Admiral (retired) Christopher Theodore Jellicoe, D.S.C.*, D.S.O., C.B., R.N. (20 June, 1903 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
As with many men born c. 1899 or later, his Service Records at The National Archives do not reflect activity between 1931 and 1939 or so.
Life & Career
Jellicoe was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 May, 1926.[1]
Jellicoe was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 May, 1934.[2]
World War II
Jellicoe was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1939.[3]
Jellicoe was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1943.[4]
Jellicoe was placed on the Retired List at the rank of Rear-Admiral on 8 July, 1953.[5]
