Captain R.N.R. (retired) Charles Leigh de Hauteville Bell, D.S.C., R.D. (24 March, 1903 – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.
Life & Career
Bell was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 31 July, 1927.
Bell was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 31 July, 1935.[1]
World War II
Bell was promoted to the rank of Commander R.N.R. on 31 December, 1940.[2]
Bell was placed on the Retired List on account of age at the rank of Captain R.N.R. on 24 March, 1953.[3]
