The Central Flying School was a British flight instruction centre founded in May, 1912 at Upavon on Salisbury Plain. It continues to operate in 2017.

- Colonel Charles J. Burke, 1 February, 1916 – 18 June, 1916
- Lieutenant-Colonel Archibald C. H. MacLean, 18 June, 1916 – November, 1917
- Lieutenant-Colonel Alan J. L. Scott, November, 1917 – 1918
