Commander (retired) Cedric Naylor, D.S.O.*, D.S.C. (12 June, 1891 – 12 January, 1949) served in the Royal Naval Reserve and the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Naylor transferred into the Royal Navy from the R.N.R..
Naylor was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 19 December, 1916. He commanded the Q-ship Penshurst from 3 October 1917 until she was lost on 24 December 1917 in action against U 110.
Naylor was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 19 December, 1924.
Naylor was placed on the Retired List at his own request at the rank of Commander on 12 June, 1935.
