Cecil Godfrey Cruttwell

Commander (retired) Cecil Godfrey Cruttwell, (5 February, 1883 – 8 February, 1945) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Cruttwell was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 September, 1905.[1]

In January, 1919 he grounded Thistle at Tanga.[2]

Retired at his own request on 21 October 1920. [3]

Cruttwell was promoted to the rank of Commander on 5 February, 1923.[4]
