Wion de Malpas Egerton

Vice-Admiral Wion de Malpas Egerton (? – 28 December, 1942) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
As a Commander, he was appointed in command of the destroyer Violet of the Seventh Destroyer Flotilla on 5 November, 1912.[1]
He was appointed in command of the new Lance on 29 July, 1914.[2]
Egerton was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1917.
In July 1917, he was appointed in command of the light cruiser Penelope.[3]
He was appointed command of the light cruiser Centaur in January, 1918.[4]
He retired on 1 June, 1930 and was advanced to the rank of Vice-Admiral on the retired list.
