Commander (emergency) William Harold Thurlby, (4 January, 1900 – ) served in the Royal Australian Navy.

Life & Career

Thurlby was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 March, 1922.

Thurlby was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 March, 1930.

Thurlby was granted the acting rank of Commander on 6 April, 1940.

Thurlby was granted the acting rank of Commander on the Emergency List on 6 April, 1940.

Thurlby was promoted to the rank of Commander on the Emergency List on 16 July, 1955
