Rear-Admiral Walter Stewart, C.B., Royal Navy (13 July, 1841 – 26 October, 1896) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Stewart was promoted to the rank of Commander with seniority of 13 May, 1869, in the hauling down vacancy of Vice-Admiral Lord Charles Paget.^[1]

He was promoted to the rank of Captain with seniority of 9 January, 1878.^[2]

Stewart was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 1 January, 1893.^[3]
