Captain THE HONOURABLE Walter Seymour Carson, R.N. (11 December, 1891 – 1 March, 1946) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Second son of Lord Carson of Duncairn.
Carson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 10 August, 1914.
Carson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 10 August, 1922.
On 25 January, 1927, Carson was appointed in temporary command of H.M.S. Kia Wo, which had been involved in the Wanhsien Incident on 5 September, 1926. His tenure ended sometime that same year.
Carson was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1927.
Carson was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Captain on 1 July, 1939.
Carson died "suddenly", as reported in The Times.
