Walter Bousfield Watkins Grubb

Lieutenant-Commander Walter Bousfield Watkins Grubb, (1 July, 1879 – 22 September, 1914) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of Lieutenant-Colonel Grubb.
Grubb was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 January, 1900. A Court Martial on 1 March 1910 cost him a year's seniority after he pleaded guyilty to drinking to excess, altering this date to 15 January, 1901.
Grubb was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 January, 1909.
Grubb was appointed to the armoured cruiser H.M.S. Cressy as Gunnery Officer on 17 March, 1914 and was killed when she was sunk by U 9 on 22 September, 1914.
