Vernon Harry Stuart Haggard
Admiral SIR Vernon Harry Stuart Haggard, K.C.B., C.M.G. was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Early Life & Career
Haggard was a Lieutenant 1904.[1]
He was appointed in command of the destroyer Boadicea. He was appointed in command of Blenheim. He was appointed in command of Good Hope for a brief period in 1913.[2]
He was appointed in command of Vulcan.
Great War
Haggard was appointed in command of the battleship Hibernia on 23 July, 1915.[3]
He was appointed in command of Highflyer in January 1918.[4]
Post War
He was appointed in command of Ajax on 5 December, 1919.[5]
In 1922, he was serving as Director of Training and Staff Duties, and involved in the decision whether and how to release the controversial Naval Staff Appreciation of Jutland.
He was placed on the Retired List at his own request dated 13 October, 1932, "in order to facilitate the promotion of younger officers."[6]
