Simon currently lives on the North West coast of England.  He is working on a book-length study of the 200 British admirals of the Great War, a topic which encompasses everything from fire-control to sail training.  His aim is, in conjunction with [[User:Tone|Tony Lovell]], to make this website an indispensable tool for any student of the Royal Navy in the First World War and the years leading up to it.

Simon Harley is a twenty-seven researcher of the Royal Navy in the Dreadnought Era.

I currently live on the North-West coast of England. For the past seven years I've been accumulating material for a book on the Royal Navy Flag Officers of the Great War; their lives and careers and how they related to the Navy they served in. My work on this website is by and large part of my research.
