Commander R.N.R. (retired) Thomas Sydney Melville Pooley, R.D., R.N.R. (15 March, 1879 – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.

Life & Career

Pooley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. with seniority of 14 September, 1913.

Demobilised 1 March, 1919.

Pooley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 14 September, 1921.

Pooley was placed on the Retired List on account of age with the rank of Commander R.N.R. on 15 March, 1924.

His name was removed from the Retired List at his own request on 17 February, 1950.
