Commander Thomas Hector Molesworth Maurice, R.N. (3 May, 1877 – 27 May, 1915) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Maurice gained twelve months' time on passing out of Britannia.

Maurice was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 January, 1898.

Maurice was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1908.

Maurice was appointed in command of the second class protected cruiser Latona on 25 July, 1914.[1]

Maurice was killed when the minelayer Princess Irene exploded and sank near Sheerness when being loaded with mines.[2]
