Commander (retired) Thomas Aislabie Powell, R.N. (12 March, 1890 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of Reverend G. B. Powell was born in Munslow.
Powell was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 APril, 1912.[1]
He was appointed to Arrogant for duty in the submarine C 15 on 24 October, 1914.[2]
Powell was appointed in command of the submarine L 8 on 7 March, 1919.[3]
Powell was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 April, 1920.
Powell was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Commander on 12 March, 1933.
