The Third Torpedo Flotilla was a formation in the United States Navy created in 1905.

History

Initial strength is six destroyers.

The flotilla is now attached to the Atlantic Fleet and the strength has been reduced to five destroyers with only Blakely (now at the Naval Torpedo Station) remaining from the previous roster.

If the Flotilla is still assigned to the Atlantic Fleet, it is not explicitly stated. Strength is five destroyers, with Stringham, the largest, being the lead ship.
Blakely and Wilkes have left to join the Reserve Torpedo Flotilla, with Thornton and Tingey joining from that same formation.

Stringham, Stockton have left to join the Charleston Reserve Torpedo Flotilla and the Norfolk Reserve Torpedo Flotilla, respectively.
Wilkes has returned from the Norfolk Reserve Torpedo Flotilla, and Macdonough has also joined, keeping the overall strength at five torpedo boats.
