Commander (retired) Sydney Harold Tennyson (24 July, 1877 – 23 March, 1950) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of a Captain J. Tennyson.

Tennyson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1899.

Tennyson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 31 December, 1907.

Tennyson was promoted to the rank of Acting Commander on 7 April, 1915.

Tennyson was placed on the Retired List at his own request at the rank of Commander on 3 March, 1922.
