Captain Stanley Napier Blackburn, C.B.E, D.S.C. (5 September, 1894 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Sub-Lieutenant Blackburn was awarded the Royal Humane Society's Bronze Medal for lifesaving at Harwich on 31 January 1916.

Blackburn was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 July, 1916.

Blackburn was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 July, 1924.

Blackburn was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1930.

World War II

Blackburn was promoted to the rank of Captain on 5 September, 1944.
