The Sixth Cruiser Squadron was originally the Third Cruiser Squadron, under Rear-Admiral Sir Henry B. Jackson. He gave up command on 10 October, 1910.[1] Officially, Rear-Admiral Sir Douglas A. Gamble commanded the Sixth Cruiser Squadron from 26 September, 1910, until 3 June, 1912.[2]
