Sidney Frederick Allen

Commander R.N.R. (retired) Sidney Frederick Allen, R.D. (21 March, 1885 – 18 December, 1939) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.
Life & Career
Allen was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 1 July, 1916.[1]
Allen was appointed in command of the destroyer Ure on 14 January, 1919.[2] He was demobilised on 28 February, 1919.[3]
Allen was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 1 July, 1924.[4]
Allen was placed on the Retired List on account of age on 21 March, 1930.[5]
Allen was perhaps promoted to the rank of Commander R.N.R. at some point.
