Vice-Admiral (retired) Robert Wilbraham Stopford, R.N. (18 September, 1865 – 9 June, 1911) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Stopford was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1878.

Stopford was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1885.

Stopford was placed on the Retired List due to age on 24 June, 1899. He was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral (retired) on 19 July, 1899 and to the rank of Vice-Admiral (retired) on 1 September, 1904.
