Reginald Blayney Colmore

Reginald Blayney Colmore was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Early Life & Career

Commander of “Revenge” in 1896.

He served as First Lieutenant under Captain Curzon-Howe in the screw corvette “Cleopatra” on the North American and West Indies Station. With a landing party from his ship he protected the inhabitants of Bluefields, Nicaragua in March 1894, and it was only by his firmness that a serious outbreak was averted. N&AI 20 March 1896
