Peter William Edward Hill ( – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

As a Commander, he was appointed in command of the armoured cruiser Euryalus on 16 March, 1914.[1]

He was appointed in command of the third class protected cruiser Pelorus in July, 1912.[2]

Hill was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December 1914.

He was temporarily appointed command of the battleship Illustrious on 15 November, 1916.[3]

On 5 December, 1916, Hill was appointed in command of the light cruiser Gloucester, remaining with her through the end of the war.[4]
