Perth Class Cruiser (1934)

Three Perth class light cruisers were completed in Britain in 1935 and 1936. All three fought in World War II as units of the Royal Australian Navy.

Design and Construction

Sydney completed for the Royal Australian Navy, but the other two units passed into Royal Navy service upon completion. However, they were both transferred into Australian service before World War II.
