Captain (retired) Pasfield Victor Oliver, R.N. (8 August, 1872 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of Captain S. P. Oliver.
Oliver was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 June, 1894.
Oliver was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1905.
On 7 December, 1912, he was appointed to Pembroke for charge of Detention Barracks. He would perform this sort of work through early 1921.
Post-War
Oliver was placed on the Retired List at his own request at the rank of Captain on 22 July, 1921. He would apply for work as Governor of Bodmin Prison.
