Vice-Admiral (retired) Oliver Bevir, C.B., C.B.E. (16 February, 1891 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Born in Monmouth the son of E. Bevir, Esq., Solicitor.

Bevir was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 February, 1912.

Post-War

Bevir was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 February, 1920.

Bevir was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1925.

Bevir was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1932.

World War II

Bevir was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 28 July, 1942.

Bevir was placed on the Retired List with the rank of Vice-Admiral on 20 December, 1945.
