Captain Noel Marcus Francis Corbett, R.N., Retired (20 December, 1887 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Lynn, Dorset the son of J. Corbett, Esq..
Corbett was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 November, 1909.[1]
In December 1912, Corbett was awarded a Medal for Gallantry in Saving Life at Sea plucking an Able Seaman from the wreck of S.S. Delhi off Algeria.
Corbett was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 November, 1917.
Corbett was appointed in command of the light cruiser Aurora on 19 February, 1918.[2]
Post-War
Corbett was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1922.
Corbett was promoted to the rank of Captain on 20 December, 1933.
