The New Zealand Station was a Royal Navy command based in New Zealand. It ordinarily involved just a handful of ships under the command of a Commodore, Second Class.

History

The Naval Defence Act 1913 created the New Zealand Naval Forces as a separate division within the Royal Navy responsible for the naval security of New Zealand. The New Zealand Division of the Royal Navy was created in 1921.

In 1941, it was supplanted by the Royal New Zealand Navy.
