Jump to navigationJump to searchNaval Cadet is the lowest officer rank in the Royal Navy, given to young men who passed the necessary qualifying examinations for entrance into a suitable training establishment at the particular time, such as the training ship H.M.S. Britannia from 1860 to 1905, or to Royal Naval College, Osborne thereafter.
Rank and Command
A Naval Cadet ranked lower than a Midshipman in the Military Branch.[1]
