Admiral Michael Maynard Denny, G.C.B., C.B.E., D.S.O. (3 October, 1896 – 7 April, 1972) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Denny was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 October, 1917.
Denny was awarded 1920's Commander Egerton Prize for passing the best examination in practical Gunnery when qualifying for Gunnery Lieutenant.
Denny was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 October, 1925.
Denny was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1930.
Denny was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1936.
Denny was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 5 July, 1945.
Denny was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 22 October, 1948.
