Captain Mervyn Hugh Cobbe ( – 27 May, 1915) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Cobbe was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1911.[1]
Cobbe was appointed in command of the second class protected cruiser Naiad on 11 February, 1914.[2]
Cobbe was killed when the minelayer Princess Irene exploded and sank near Sheerness when being loaded with mines.[3]
