Captain (retired) Leicester Francis Gartside Tippinge, C.B.E., R.N. (28 October, 1855 – 30 September, 1938) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Tippinge was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 4 February, 1881.

Tippinge was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1894.

Tippinge was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Captain on 14 May, 1902.
