Captain John Wilfrid Boutwood, D.S.O. (31 March, 1899 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Boutwood was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 February, 1920.
Boutwood was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1934.
Boutwood was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1941.
On 12 December 1942, appointed in command of the minesweeper Fantome, and as Senior Officer, Twelfth Minesweeping Flotilla, vice Crombie.[Fact Check] She was mined off Bizerte and declared a loss. In July, 1943 he was appointed in command of the minesweeper Fly, vice Trevor, R.N.V.R..
