Lieutenant-Commander John Kenneth Crawley, (27 August, 1873 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Crawley named Mrs. J. E. Pringle of Malta as his guardian upon joining the January 1887 intake term at H.M.S. Britannia.[1]

Crawley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1895.[2]

Suffering from illnesses that cannot be confidently read from his Service Record but possibly related to an 1890 bout with Mediterranean Fever, Crawley was invalided from an appointment in Imperieuse in December 1898 and eventually placed on the Retired List as unfit on 22 August, 1899.[3]

Crawley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 June, 1903.[4]
