Vice-Admiral John Garnet Armstrong, O.B.E., Royal Navy, Retired (19 July, 1870 – 30 April, 1949) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Armstrong was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 28 January, 1920, vice Grant, and was placed on the Retired List at his own request the following day.

Armstrong died age 78 on 30 April, 1949. He was cremated on 4 May at Golders Green Crematorium.[1]
