Captain (retired) John Frederick Knox, O.B.E. (25 March, 1876 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Knox was born in London.

Knox was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1898.

Knox was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 June, 1906.

Knox was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 14 February, 1911.

Knox was granted the acting rank of Commander (retired) on 13 February, 1915.

Knox was promoted to the rank of Commander (retired) on 25 March, 1916.

Knox was granted the war service rank of Captain (retired), dated 11 November, 1918.
