Captain John Colin Howard Lindsay, R.N. (27 December, 1877 – 17 January, 1954) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Brompton.
Lindsay was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in April, 1900.
Lindsay was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1913.
Lindsay was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1918.
Post-War
Lindsay was appointed in command of the light cruiser Chester on 13 January, 1919.[1]
Lindsay was placed on the Retirted List at his own request on 10 August, 1922.
