Lieutenant-Commander (retired) James Henry Chapman, (28 January, 1869 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Chapman was promoted to the rank of Gunner on 25 October, 1897.
Chapman was promoted to the rank of Chief Gunner on 25 October, 1912.
Chapman was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 March, 1919.
Chapman commanded the tender Biter, the former Sir William Reid, from 19 January to 31 March, 1922.
Chapman was placed on the Retired List on 12 August, 1922 and promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander (retired) on 15 March, 1927.
